ELDERS | Episode 2 Travels With Corbett

A drawing in black, white and gray of Corbett O'Toole as a little girl carry a purse and using crutches. She has a brace on her right leg. Behind her is a gray chain-link fence, a wall and olive green grass. The image is vignetted in a brushwork olive green frame.

Corbett O’Toole is 72 and lives in a van in the desert. Her life story embodies the strength of empowered disabled people who are agents of change, people who, like Corbett, have made history and continue to do so. Made in collaboration with The Imprint, Travels With Corbett was produced as a project for the USC Annenberg Center for Health Journalism’s California Health Equity Fellowship.
